Owl on a Stump Earrings
These Owl earrings are little artistic vignettes featuring tiny Owls that have been delicately sculpted and hand painted, resting on a lichen covered stump. Intricately detailed and one of a kind, they are a great gift for a bird lover, naturalist, Audubon enthusiast, friend, loved one, or yourself.
All designs are 100% handmade using the highest quality polymer clay. Polymer clay is a lightweight, flexible and durable material that will look great for a lifetime with proper care.
POSTS:
Many children and adults are sensitive to cheap metals. Titanium earring posts make these as allergy friendly as possible without the expense of pure gold. Only 0.6% of people are allergic to titanium, so it is safe for even the most sensitive ears. Unlike cheaper metals, these are unalloyed pure titanium, nickel-free, and have no trace of irritating metals. Posts are buried in the stud using liquid polymer clay and re-baked for maximum comfort.
BACKS:
Backs are made of clear silicone. I do not use any metal butterflies due to metal sensitivities, as even those labelled hypoallergenic cause reactions for a lot of people. Two sets of clear silicone backs are included to ensure there is an extra set if one goes missing.
