These Northern Flicker earrings are little artistic vignettes featuring tiny Northern Flickers that have been delicately sculpted and hand painted, standing on a lichen covered branch with fall leaves.
All designs are 100% handmade using the highest quality polymer clay. Polymer clay is a lightweight, flexible and durable material that will look great for a lifetime with proper care.
POSTS:
Many children and adults are sensitive to cheap metals. Only 0.6% of people are allergic to titanium, so it is safe for even the most sensitive ears. Unlike cheaper metals, these are unalloyed pure titanium, nickel-free, and have no trace of irritating metals. Posts are buried in the stud using liquid polymer clay and re-baked for maximum comfort.
BACKS:
Backs are made of clear silicone. I do not use any metal butterflies due to metal sensitivities, as even those labelled hypoallergenic cause reactions for a lot of people.
